'Surfacing' selected for Australian submission to the ISCM World New Music Days Festival 2021

Surfacing has been selected as part of the official Australian submission to the 2021 ISCM World New Music Days festival in Shanghai and Nanning, China (17-25 September 2021). The official Australian selection includes the following works:

• James Beattie: Lyre, Lyre (2021) for fixed media

• Dobromila Jaskot: Spri (2019) for piano

• Cameron Lam: Synchronous Time from String Quartet No. 2: Time echoes your sound

• Clare Maclean: Psalm 11 (2019) for SSAATTBB choir

• Nicole Murphy: Surfacing (2018) for chamber ensemble

• Sam Wu: Teasdale Songs (2016/17) for SATB choir
